Robbie Glen A speaker with a difference, Robbie is known "on the circuit" as "The Prison Governor". His "inside stories" are ideal for any dinner and he is one of the country's funniest and most experienced speakers.
After a short spell teaching, Robbie joined the Scottish Prison Service at the tender age of 23 years as an Assistant Governor, being then the youngest person appointed to the Governor grades in Scotland. His experiences resulted in him serving in, among other prisons, Edinburgh, Glasgow's Barlinnie and Cornton Vale, Scotland's only female establishment, before his early retirement in 1996.
This man should carry a government health warning: he is seriously funny The Sunday Times
What can I say to a person who turned out to be nothing short of brilliant? I have received so many telephone calls from people that state you were one of the finest after-dinner speakers they have heard for many years
