Mike Cowan
Mike was a fast bowler for nine years with the Yorkshire County Cricket Club, sharing the opening attack with the legendary Fred Trueman and representing his country on a tour of Pakistan. On leaving professional sport, he turned to the world of selling, where he represented Horlicks, Unichem and Penguin Books. He has also been a commentator for Yorkshire Television.

	His life in the rugged mining area of South Yorkshire and the benefits of having an Irish father have been instrumental in producing stories which are absolutely fascinating to listen to. Mike is a hugely entertaining and very funny speaker. Among his clients are British Airways, I.B.M., Manchester United and many professional bodies.
