David Kendall David Kendall was born and bred in York and from 1950 to 1955 was a Choristor in York Minster. In 1965, he joined Barclays Bank and, prior to his early retirement in 1990, was the manager of the York University branch for five years.
David is a hugely popular figure on the after-dinner speaking circuit, being known to countless audiences and to fellow professionals as "the Bank Manager from York". He is exceptional value for money and is one of Britain's finest.
